As our facilities and headcount continue to grow, we are looking for an individual to manage and control day to day facility issues. This person must be extremely adaptable, have an incredibly high work quality standards, and enjoy the unique challenge of facility growth. Furthermore, our facilities are a physical representation of our attention to detail; this role must hold the line on cleanliness and organization and safety.
Colorado law requires us to tell you the base compensation range of this role, which is $75,000 - $115,000, determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. URSA'S COVID POLICY:

As a U.S. government contractor, Ursa Major is subject to President Biden’s September 9, 2021 Executive Order on Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors requiring federal contractors to be fully vaccinated from COVID-19. As such, Ursa Major requires employees to either show proof of vaccination or demonstrate an exemption for medical or religious reasons by December 8, 2021. Per the executive order, “fully vaccinated” means two weeks after a final dose of a one- or two-dose COVID-19 vaccine approved for regular or emergency use by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or World Health Organization.
Responsibilities
  • Skilled and experienced with facility maintenance ranging from electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire sprinkler, and general construction work.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple trades and/or outside contractors.
  • Budget management for expansion and maintenance activities.
  • Maintains excellent facility cleanliness, manages contracted janitorial services, and ensures site is prepared for showing at any time.
  • Manage maintenance & records for all company vehicles
  • On call for emergency situations (i.e. water breaks, power drop-outs, sewage back-ups)
  • Manages all JSA’s for non-test facilities.
  • Non-test site commodity management.
Requirements
  • 10+ years experience in trade work.
  • Experience managing contractors or contract labor.
  • Working understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general facility management using the latest building codes.
  • Demonstrated construction experience (new builds, facility expansion).
  • Deep desire to grow responsibilities as facilities expand.
